ALARA HAN                                          


Alara Han is a 13th century caravanserai of the Anatolian Seljuk period

37 km west of Alanya, about 10 km from the hotel on the banks of the Alara brook in the area, which was built as a caravanserai on an area of 2000 m2 cut with large stones.

The caravanserai was built in 1231 and is now a renovated restaurant and shopping center with plenty of shopping. The Observatory of the caravanserai has retained its position today. The second door of this caravan yard opens to the left to the travelers' accommodation at that time. Along the long Koridor, there are small rooms on the right and left. There is also a fountain in the caravanserai, a mosque and baths.

On the banks of the cold Alara creek, there are restaurants and recreation facilities for our esteemed guests who have the opportunity to spend time culturally and historically.


About 800 meters from Alarahan caravanserai is the Alara castle, it was built in 1232 by the Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat.

The former function of this burge was the safety of the caravans, which were also called "Ipekyolu" on the commercial car, beside the cool Alara Baches short breaks. The castle is built on a steep hill from 200 meters to 500 meters. It has an imposing view with a charming view. You can enter the castle through a dark tunnel with 120 steps.
